Welcome

Capital Productions comprises of a group of young BVIslanders who came together in 1998 to promote society enrichment through events and charity donations. The founding members in 1998 were David D. Archer, Lorna F. Christopher, Eugenia O’Neal, Julian Willock, Malvern Braithwaite and David A. Abednego. The group has evolved over the years and now has new activities and new members. For the past ten (10) years its signature event has been the official August Festival Car Show and Exhibition of which portions of the proceeds go to local charities.

Over the years Capital Productions has donated well over seventy five thousand dollars ($75,000) to charities. Some of the beneficiaries of these donations have been: The Rainbow Children’s Home, The BVI Red Cross, The Eselyn Henley Richez Learning Centre, The Virgin Gorda Elderly Home, The Enid Scatliffe Primary School, The Senior Citizen’s Home, the Althea Scatliffe Primary School, and countless individuals, families, sick and shut-ins.

Its signature Annual Official August Festival Car Show and Exhibition has attracted visitors and residents from all over the world and is now the biggest event of the BVI August Festival lineup. Cars have participated from all across the Virgin Islands – St. Croix, St. John, St. Thomas, Tortola and Virgin Gorda. Further, this event has attracted local sponsors that include major private businesses, individuals, Government Departments, elected officials, and both local and regional media.

The generosity of Capital Productions has also been recognised by major publications such as Core and Plush magazines, the VI Daily News, the Antigua Sun, the San Juan Star, Leeward Islands Times, as well as local BVI media.

Today, the group has five members; David D. Archer, Julien N. Johnson, David A. Abednego, Ingrid A. Moses-Scatliffe, and Julian Willock. Its members, in their private lives, are also involved in church activities, after school programmes, individual entrepreneurship, community organizations, social clubs, mentorship activities and helping the less privileged. Capital Productions' members are highly respected by the young people and elders of the Virgin Islands and are committed to God and country.

Outside of their efforts to bring wholesome family events to the BVI, the members have professional lives and are all employed in the Public Sector of the Virgin Islands. Capital Productions also seeks ways to find investment opportunities and have a love for the Virgin Islands.
